Happy Sunday morning!
Let’s get out and S.E.E. Boston Fall Folliage on a bike in the city for about 18ish miles round trip, and being mindful of safety, all the unique city sites including the diversity and history, the Charles River, the Esplanade and city parks, boats/locks etc. in the Navy Shipyard area, and much more! We have an awesome guest leader to guide us and will determine the bathroom, snack/water and sight seeing breaks and stop the entire group for a sufficient amount of time.
Important to know:
There is very little on street riding but it is very important that you are comfortable biking in the city with a group and are willing to follow all leader instructions, be flexible about the agenda, stay with the group, ride single file and follow all traffic signals (NO biking through red lights etc.).
*Do not attend if you are sick in any way or have been exposed to COVID.
*The group will leave ON TIME; have your gear and bathroom needs taken care of ahead of time. Come early so others are not kept waiting.
*Make sure your bike is in working order and that you have a spare tire tube.
*Bring enough hydration and perhaps a snack. We will have a hot chocolate, apple cider and dessert tailgate following our ride. You may want to pack a chair in your car!
*The leaders may postpone/cancel the event due to inclement weather.
DISCLAIMER:
Bike helmets are mandatory when riding with us!
IMPORTANT: Be sure your bike is in good working order! Tires should be in good shape and pumped up, gears should shift smoothly, and your brakes should be properly adjusted. Please learn from my experience and pack a spare tube in case of a flat. I have a hand pump if additional air will do.
AS CONDITION OF ATTENDING THIS MEETUP, YOU AGREE TO: Hold harmless, and indemnify the organizers and their relations and heirs, and all members and participants of S.E.E.
